Students produce an episode of the BeloitTV program “Inside Beloit.”
BeloitTV may take its name from a traditional medium, but Beloit College is not cutting the cord on opportunities for students to create up-to-date media content.
In addition to providing broadcast services for the City of Beloit’s government access channel, BeloitTV empowers students with the tools needed to develop their own media projects. With a professional videographer/producer on staff, Media Studies majors (and interested non-majors) can learn to produce, write, edit, and program content for academic courses, the campus community, and their own personal portfolio.
The station also provides training and resources for local residents to produce their own content, giving them the opportunity to tell their stories in their own words. Whether you’re interested in local news, arts, or history, there’s something for everyone on BeloitTV.
The podcasting studio at the Center for Entrepreneurship (CELEB) is open to all Beloit College students, faculty, and staff who have ideas to share with our campus community and beyond.
